I tried a newly opened food cart today on SW 10th Avenue, near Alder. Addy’s offers a variety of sandwiches on crusty baguettes. Vegetarian options include cucumber and brie, mozzarella and seasonal vegetables, and chocolate, olive oil and sea salt. Carnivorous choices abound, with offerings like tuna salad, country pate with mustard and duck confit slathered with apricot sauce. I opted for the cucumber and brie. The bread was fantastic, with a generous serving of cheese, thinly sliced English cucumbers and a light sprinkling of sea salt. Addy’s is a welcome addition to the small city of food carts between 9th and 10th Avenues and now one of my favorites in the neighborhood.
